It’s a good job we can’t see into the future. This time last year we were starting to get sick of the rain but it was only just beginning. Now we are praying for a downfall. Its a great thing that farmers are so resilient or we could not remain on the land. It is a struggle at present. Dust everywhere and dams getting very low. We have sold off surplus stock and feeding almost everything else. Cattle are going to be a big worry if we don’t get some run off soon. Ram sales were mediocre this past year but can you blame people when lamb prices are so good but in saying this the wool market is on the rise and the sheep meat market is very handy. Leo has started to breed a few polled sheep. Hope he can stay alive long enough to see them grow and perform.

We enjoyed a great show season this past year although we only attended Tenterfield and Walcha shows. After a successful year as a junior our prize winning ewe named Roberta was named SUPREME SHEEP OF THE SHOW at both shows. She has now been put into an AI program and hopefully will surprise us with a beautiful lamb in the spring.

We have had a change of staff since we last wrote. Adam and Andrew both come from small blocks of land in Kentucky and travel each day. Both men are showing great promise and we are enjoying their company very much. Leo turned 90 in March. We had a great weekend at the coast over Easter with all family down to great grandchildren. Where does the time go?

We hope that next time we write the weather and world politics have made a turn for the better.
